Transportation Project
Experience
Roadway, bridge, and transportation projects are critical for society and a core element to BAJADA’s services.
Presentative Projects
The following are a few representative projects in which BAJADA has provided professional services. Please contact us if you would like additional project descriptions or if we can be of assistance on an upcoming project.

Pilgrim Creek Road Bridge over Mud Creek
A glacial outburst flood starting on Mt. Shasta flooded Mud Creek and made Pilgrim Creek Road impassable. BAJADA was retained by the project Contractor, Steelhead Constructors, to provide a rapid geotechnical design for piles to support reconstruction of the bridge.
Churn Creek Road Roundabouts
Traffic along Churn Creek Road was already crowded but improvements to a local campus would have impacted travel even more. To mitigate this, dual round-abouts were proposed for the roadway. BAJADA was retained to provide geotechnical services for design of this project.

Hat Creek Wild Trout Section Pedestrian Bridge
While working for others, Bajada personnel provided geotechnical services for the design of this clear span pedestrian bridge over the Wild Trout Section of Hat Creek, allowing easy access to both banks of this scenic waterway.
Old Alturas Bridge over Churn Creek
The City of Redding decided to replace this functionally obsolete 143-foot, 4-bent bridge. BAJADA personnel, while working for others, provided geotechnical services for design of this project.
