Professional services for design and operations of mine and energy projects is a core service element for BAJADA. Over the last 10 years our personnel have worked on over 30 hard rock mines and aggregate quarries with highwalls ranging in height to over 650 feet.
Our geoenvironmental division has provided SPCC and hazardous materials / waste regulatory compliance assistance and reporting.

Crystal Creek Aggregate Expansion
Assessment of highwall stability for sizable expansion of an existing hard rock aggregate quarry located in Shasta County, with proposed highwalls up to almost 400 feet tall.
La Grange Mine Expansion
This Trinity County project included stability evaluations, assessment of rippability and blasting, and testing for naturally occurring asbestos for an expansion from an alluvial aggregate to a hard-rock aggregate quarry.
Mountain Gate Quarry
BAJADA provided geoenvironmental services to assist in the environmental compliance for storage and disposal of materials utilized for operations at this Shasta County quarry.
Calgren Biogas Pipeline Systems
This biogas project included over 25 miles of pipeline and scores of trenchless crossings of roadways and canals in Tulare County, California. One such crossing was a 400-foot-long alignment beneath Highway 99 and Southern Pacific railroad easements.
